Empowered by his loving immigrant family and forever changed by his relationship with Christ which began sophomore year, Yohance graduated from Rutgers University in 2000 with a BS in Biology/Psychology. He had plans as a child to pursue a career as a cardiac surgeon and was accepted to RWJ Medical School where he met his magnificent bride, Sarita. However, the Lord had other plans for Yohance - to heal hearts in a different manner. Thus, he transitioned to seminary, graduating from Cairn University in 2013 with a Masters in Divinity. Since then, he has been active in various roles in the local church, chaplaincy, and prison ministries. Yohance and Sarita have three spunky and mission-minded children and have been certified respite care providers since 2018.
