Foster Family Day

Offers a variety of family outing opportunities in the local community at no charge. Each event may offer something new for your family to participate in.

 

There are trips to the U.S.S Lexington with a self-guided tour, STEAM activities for the children and teens, a movie experience, picture opportunities, and a catered lunch in the ship's galley. We also head out on a fishing trip every year leaving from Port Aransas Fisherman's Wharf. Foster children and teens, ages 7 and older, are welcome aboard to catch some fish, take home what they caught, and enjoy a delicious lunch after we return to Fisherman's Wharf. We have enjoyed the Texas State Aquarium, Nueces Delta Preserve, In the Game, and are excited to bless foster families in the future through a complimentary family outing.
